Jena Martin is an essayist and novelist based in Minneapolis. She writes about perception, pathology and culture from the perspective of a skeptical member of Generation X.

 

As a pathologist she finds beauty in the grotesque … and always points out the grotesque in what others find beautiful.  The third season of her podcast, The Memory Hole, will be coming out in 2026.

She recently completed her first novel and is hard at work on her next book. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her behind the microscope or combing through the past at a vintage store.
