About
Jena Martin is a writer and a pathologist. She finds and describes the beauty in the grotesque, a perspective that is helpful in both fields.

Jena currently lives in the Minneapolis area with her family. If she isn’t writing or working behind her microscope, she’s likely cooking, making collage art or strength training.

She is represented by Rachel Ekstrom Courage of Courage Literary.

You can listen to Jena on the podcast she wrote, created and produced. This 6-episode series from 2023 is a look back at the mental health crisis known as the Recovered Memory Movement of the late 1980's and early 90's, from the perspective of a bystander.
This podcast grew out of the research done to support Jena's novel, a literary thriller about women and their families still grappling with the hurt stirred up by the allegations of abuse.
You can listen to the series on Apple or wherever you get your podcasts.
